We are currently searching for a talented Engineer II to join and grow with our Water Engineering team!

This Opportunity:

• Join our drinking water and wastewater infrastructure team to support the planning, design, and construction of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage or conveyance projects
• ·Develop creative solutions to complex water and wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with our team of engineers, designers and other professionals
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions
• Build and strengthen client relationships in collaboration with experienced project managers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience serving as a design engineer or project manager for water/wastewater projects
• Coursework related to water and wastewater treatment and conveyance
• Residence in Des Moines, IA metro area
• Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; occasional overnight travel will be required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passed FE/EIT exam
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Zero (0) to Four (4) years of previous experiencePrevious experience serving as a design engineer or project manager for water/wastewater projects
• Previous experience serving as a design engineer or project manager for water/wastewater projects
• Previous experience in preparing project plans, specifications, and bidding documents
• Previous experience in project proposal preparation and client service management
• Proficiency with design applications including: AutoCAD Civil3D, ArcGIS, Revit
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling including: XPSWMM, Infoswmm, Bentley WaterGEMS and Innovyze InfoWater
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $35 and $48 per hour based on skill set and experience.
