We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead and transform our Riggs Rents rental business. This executive-level role is responsible for the strategic planning, sales development, and profitable growth of revenue and market share across our construction and industry rental portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving significant year-over-year growth, developing high-performing teams, and executing innovative sales strategies that expand our footprint in the market. The ability to relocate to the Central Arkansas area is a must.

Strategic Leadership

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve aggressive revenue growth and market share expansion within the rental division.

- Drive long-term strategic planning, identifying key market and account opportunities and competitive advantages.

- Establish clear sales goals, metrics, and KPIs that align with broader company objectives.

- Foster cross-department collaboration with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment of rental sales strategies with company-wide initiatives.


Sales Development

- Build and scale high-performing rental sales teams to effectively capture new business, retain existing customers, and maximize overall sales opportunities.

- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance sales team skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.

- Utilize data analytics and market insights to identify new prospects, optimize sales cycles, and refine customer acquisition strategies.


Growth and Expansion:

- Drive revenue growth through the identification and implementation of high-impact sales tactics, such as pricing strategies, bundling, upselling, and expanding product offerings.

- Analyze competitive trends and customer feedback to develop innovative strategies that differentiate our rental services from competitors.

- Establish and nurture key relationships with high-value customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to foster long-term business success.

- Continuously monitor sales performance and market trends, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed financial targets.

- Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team on sales results, strategic initiatives, and market conditions.

- Ensure accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting of sales pipeline, bookings, and revenue.


Servant Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of sales professionals including Sales Managers, Strategic Account Managers, and Territory Sales Reps.

- Demonstrates Servant Leadership by prioritizing the growth and development of team members, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.

- Empowers and mentors employees to achieve their full potential, ensuring that team success is the primary goal.

- Establish a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.

Preferred Experience: 10+ years in senior sales leadership roles, ideally in heavy equipment or allied rental or related industries - with a focus on driving revenue and profitable market expansion.


Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in leading sales teams to achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets year-over-year.


Strategic Thinking: Expertise in developing and executing strategic plans that lead to significant business growth and operational efficiencies.


Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with a history of building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing sales teams. Prioritizing the development of our team members to align with company vision is a must. Leads with empathy to develop trust among team members.


Market Knowledge and Analytical Skills: Deep understanding of the construction equipment/jobsite rental industry, including key trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Profitable, market disrupter, analytically savvy with market trends and usage. Strong data analysis and forecasting skills to measure performance and adjust strategies for optimal results is a must.

- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Proficiency in CRM software (SalesLink experience a plus.) and other sales enablement tools.

- Analytically minded with the ability to use data to drive action
