Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in orthopedics medical education. With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Marketing Technology team in Naples, Florida is responsible for creating websites and mobile applications for our customers and stakeholders (e.g. health care professionals, patients, sales reps, Medical Education). We are a high paced, fun, and collaborative team searching for an intern pursuing a Computer Science or Digital Marketing degree to support the web development team. The candidate is expected to understand and interpret basic business problem statements, collect and document requirements, follow test plans and perform quality assurance tasks, and support operational projects with guidance from the other business analysts on the team. The individual will perform various project management related tasks and must be detail oriented and organized in the tracking and coordination of multiple projects. A successful candidate should be naturally curious with technical aptitude, and a strong interest in software and technology.

This internship will run from January 2025 - April 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work at least 25 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

Main Objective:

Gain knowledge and experience in the software development life cycle specific to requirements analysis and documentation, and project management through support and completion of Marketing Technology department projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Analysis and Project Coordination


  • Coordinate development tasks and release activities.

  • Follow test plan and execute automated and manual testing for daily / weekly websites releases.

  • Participate in weekly team meetings.

  • Organize, coordinate and implement content requests.

  • Communicate across teams and stakeholders from intake through request completion.


Operations and Maintenance
  • On-going operations and maintenance on 7 patient microsites and 6 surgeon microsites.

User Experience


  • UX Documentation project: organize and create hierarchy for new and existing documentation.

  • Implement Contact Us links in footer for all microsites.

  • Audit and standardize all microsite footers.

Education and Experience:


  • Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Computer Science. A college sophomore or above preferred. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)

  • Basic understanding of software development life cycle required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
