We are looking for an experienced Vice President to help deliver trusted client advice on complex compliance and reporting issues. The Federal Tax Advisory group oversee and support various internal teams.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Assist in growth initiatives within the firm
• Be proficient in tax compliance, provision and other tax technology tools
• Proficient in research and memo writing
• Manage workflow and staff
• Tax planning and analytical thinking
• Working as a team with both staff, peers, and MDs
• Assist in the preparation and review of Quarterly and Annual Accounting for income tax
• Prepare or analyze various clean energy and other credits
• Assist with developing strategy including plan for various client situations, i.e. potential tax law changes
• Assist with financial modelling for various tax structures or tax impacts
• Preparation of and participation in management presentation and new business presentations
• Significant client interaction at multiple levels

Essential traits:

• You have 5-10 years of experience in various corporate tax positions, tax compliance preparation and review, tax provision preparation and review, managing and developing a team.
• You have a degree in Business Administration or similar. We'll take into consideration MBA and/or chartered accountant certifications.
• You have excellent research abilities including familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ etc.
• You are proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• You have a high English level.
• Ability to manage confidential, sensitive information.
