Responsibilities:
Perform chemical analysis and quality verification of flow battery electrolyte samples using HPLC, ICP, UV-Vis, viscometry, turbidity, and conductivity techniques.
Provide critical quality control data for the development of new battery electrolyte products and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with senior chemists, battery scientists, and manufacturing partners to ensure that electrolyte products meet specifications for development and commercial use.
Support a team of four, generating QC data and testing samples for research and development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with laboratory experience.
Experience:
At least 1 year of laboratory experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments.
Proficiency in HPLC and/or ICP-OES analytical techniques.
Ability to conduct testing, analyze data, and contribute to next steps in product development.
Desired Skills:
4+ years of experience in industrial chemical or pharmaceutical product development and quality control.
Experience in analytical method development and validation.
Knowledge of procedures for validation, verification, and periodic monitoring to meet customer specifications.
