Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's valued client is looking for 2 Cloud Engineers to add to their team in Milwaukee, WI. This will be on a contract basis, but goal is to convert at least one of the roles to a FTE. There are a few projects candidates will support-first is some business-driven projects with Azure components and supporting building out their platform as a product.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or equivalent)


• 3+ years of designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure


• 2+ years of working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform and Bicep


• Experience with CICD/Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure Bicep, Ansible)


• Must have experience with Code Promotion and Release Process


• Strong knowledge of the Azure environment and services


• Understanding of cloud security best practices and tools


• Familiarity with the following technologies/concepts: Software development platforms (Microsoft DevOps, GitHub, etc.); Infrastructure as code concepts (Terraform, Azure Resource Manager etc.)


• Scripting and automation mindset (PowerShell, Python, Bash)


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
