RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a Detroit MI-based automotive manufacturer who brings engineering, technology, and design together to create innovative vehicles, energy solutions, and in-vehicle services is seeking a Group Leader 2.

Duties Include:
General:

• Ensures that all data/information for a flawless material flow are available


• Coordinates material flow activity


• Supports BPD/Scorecard achievement


• Internal Controls compliance for their functions

Safety:
People:

• Works with material supervisors


• Assists stockmen


• Communicate receiving process to unloading and receiving areas

Quality:

• Ensures correct inventories for Component/Press/Assembly material (inventory control process)


• Interfaces with suppliers, LLP, and plant floor on material issues


• Monitors pull systems through periodic audits


• Evaluate the PPS Concerned Parts Report daily and take action if necessary


• Responsible for alarm 2 and alarm 5 follow up in the 5 Alarm Process


• Responds to and resolves floor problems in the assigned floor area such as min/max conditions, standard pack discrepancies, packaging compliance coordination with the supplier, labeling, part misuse, and discrepancy reports


• Resolves other supplier non-conformances


• Manages part buffers using regional tools


• Participates on PFEP team


• Confirms/Issues PRR's for various issues and follows up on supplier responses


• Manages material flow on source changes


• Maintains all plant material records


• Investigates record errors


• Investigates part histories to identify misuse, specification problems, unaccounted scrap or potential theft


• Investigates O, S and D's


• Maintains supplier parameters on -MAO6- schedules


• Responsible for "as required" material such as shims & wheel weights


• Maintains ISO standards


• Performs receiving/material receipt analysis and investigates losses


• Audit of receiving process, follow-up and resolution of discrepancies

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED is required


• Business administration and or supply chain will work

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
