Job Summary

Develop and execute risk based internal audits, including tracking audit findings through to remediation. Assist with the company’s SOX 404 compliance efforts, including control definition, self-assessment and testing. Also, perform special projects as requested by management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan.

• Lead and manage the co-sourced internal audit team.

• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.

• Prepare and present audit results to senior management and the audit committee.

• Develop relationships with management to assist in the identification and mitigation of risks throughout the organization.

• Partner with the Legal Department to ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct and assist in special projects as requested.

• Collaborate with external auditors.

• Participate and/or lead other special projects as requested.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
• Strong knowledge and expertise in internal audit with 10 or more years of experience

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Advanced degree and/or CPA (or equivalent)

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Clearly communicates and explains risks audit findings, and recommendations to all levels of management, including the Audit Committee
• Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of auditing standards and best practices
• Strong knowledge of current accounting standards and SOX 404 requirements
• Strong written and oral communication
• Sound judgment and ability to act independently
• Ability to build strong relationships throughout the organization
• Ability to travel to domestic and international locations as needed to perform internal audits or special projects for management
