We are seeking a Staff Accountant to be responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a companys reports and statements. This includes preparing financial statements, maintaining, and reconciling accounts, assisting with budgeting, and forecasting, and ensuring all accounting tasks and financial records comply with general accepting accounting principles (GAAP).

You will:

  • Collaborate with Divisional Controllers to help prepare and analyze financial reports.
  • Review project margins and work with project teams to resolve issues.
  • Assist management with analyzing financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budgets.
  • Review and Reconcile GL accounts, credit cards, and other transactions for month end close.
  • Complete journal entries, adjustments, and accruals.
  • Assist with audit requests and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with troubleshooting finance-related system issues.
  • Assist with process documentation as requested.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and systems.
  • Research and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
  • Provide support and guidance to other accounting staff and departments.
  • Be an ambassador that prioritizes the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the Careers of our associates.

You have:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least one year of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices
  • Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements and reports.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
  • A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.
