JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for developing automated tests in support of development efforts for our software products. This includes working closely with product management to understand requirements, designing test plans, writing automated code, executing tests, and maintaining regression test suite. Also responsible for performing integration testing between subsystems and systems, and troubleshooting technical issues on complex projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with product management team to understand business/regulatory requirements and convert into detailed functional requirements that can be used by engineers as they develop new features or enhancements.
Design automated test plans including integration and system level testing
Implement automated tests using Cucumber BDD framework
Execute tests both manually and automatically
Maintain regression test suite
Troubleshoot and debug technical issues on complex projects
Collaborate with other engineers within Agile teams to review code and provide feedback
Support post-release activities such as customer issue resolution
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred
2+ years experience in automated software testing (preferably using Cucumber)
Experience with JavaScript / Typescript / HTML / CSS
Experience with Git
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Cloudbees etc.)
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written communication
Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Demonstrates initiative and sense of urgency
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience with Python
Experience with Jenkins Pipeline
Experience with Docker
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Perforce, ClearCase, Subversion, Git)
Experience with build tools (Maven, Ant, Gradle)
Experience with Jenkins continuous integration server
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Cloudbees etc.)
Experience with Agile Software Development methodology
Experience with Selenium WebDriver
