The Judge Group is currently seeking a Registered Behavioral Technician for a high school in the Aston, PA area ASAP! This role will be in an Emotional Support Classroom for the 2024-2025 school year. Please see details below.
Position Details:
Title: Registered Behavioral Technician
Location: Aston, PA 19014
Type of engagement : Contract throughout the school year
Hours: M-F 7:30 am to 2:15 pm
Specific Duties:
Implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans as directed by the BCBA.
Provide direct one-on-one therapy to the student, focusing on reducing verbal aggression and promoting positive behaviors.
Collect and record data on the student's behavior and progress during sessions.
Adjust interventions as needed based on the student's response and progress.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the BCBA to ensure consistent implementation of the behavior plan. - Maintain a safe and supportive environment for the student.
Communicate regularly with the BCBA and other team members regarding the student's progress and any challenges encountered.
Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld at all times.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Current RBT or BT certification.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral challenges, preferably in a school setting.
