Summary
As an integral part of a cohesive team, the restaurant and lounge server is responsible for taking orders and delivering food and beverages to guests at the dining establishment. In the role of a bartender and essential team member, I am tasked with skillfully preparing and serving a wide array of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons
The Courtyard by Marriott located in Cocoa Beach is currently hiring experienced Servers with Bartending Knowledge.
Essential Functions

1. Follow instructions for serving tables.
2. Be punctual for the early morning shift.
3. Understand food and drink preparation.
4. Sell alcohol and food items.
5. Use a computer for taking orders and processing payments.
6. Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
7. Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant and assist with operations.
8. Clear and set tables.
9. Check IDs for alcohol service. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene if necessary. Seek a manager's assistance if needed.
10. Ensure guest satisfaction and strive to exceed their expectations.
11. Maintain a tidy appearance and observe hygiene standards.
12. Take orders and prepare/serve drinks.
13. Communicate clearly and warmly with guests.
14. Keep the restaurant clean and ensure stock levels are maintained.
15. Input drink orders into the computer immediately, collect payment from guests and provide change.
16. Perform any other assigned duties.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a public space and also a kitchen environment, housed with equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer and chefs knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, gas stove and noise.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire, and noise.
The employee is required to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

This is a part-time position, Non-Exempt.

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education and Experience
Prior experience in a related food service position.
