Lynden Incorporated is seeking a Software Developer II to work as part of our SeaTac based team.  You will work as a Front-End Developer specializing in React, where you will play a crucial role in crafting front-end applications that deliver outstanding user experiences. Collaborating closely with product owners and subject matter experts, you will design and implement highly responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces that not only delight our customers but also set a new standard for our web applications. Additionally, you will support a variety of application systems, crafting customized software solutions for our freight management applications.

What you will be doing:


  • Work with customers, business analysts and senior-level developers to understand requirements that drive the analysis, design and development of quality/cost effective technical solutions while being delivered on time and within budget.

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality software by writing clean code and utilizing unit test, continuous integration, and code reviews.

  • Analyze project requirements, the existing environment, available technology, and develop recommendations for appropriate technology solutions.

  • Make recommendations regarding the development of new code or reuse of existing code. 

  • Provides training and post installation support for customers, coworkers and other IT team members.

  • May also participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations.

  • Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, setting priorities and following through to successful completion.

What we need from you (minimum requirements):


  • At least 4 years’ experience developing front-end web applications using React.

  • Experience developing with Angular, Node.JS, CSS Frameworks.

  • A commitment to building scalable and maintainable architectures, you prioritize writing clean, readable code that enhances team collaboration and long-term project success.

  • You are a proponent of agile development and value rapid prototyping, always eager to see your work in action.

  • A deep understanding of web application paradigms, cloud technologies, and their respective strengths and pitfalls.

Preference if you also have:


  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Technology.

  • Project management, Scrum and Agile Development experience.

  • Knowledge of processes and concepts like Git, DevOps, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Integration.

  • UX design experience.

  • Experience with developing software in the cloud. 

  • Knowledge of Universe (Rocket Software), a major plus.

 

Things to know: 


  • We work in a hybrid schedule with minimum 2 days onsite at our corporate office and 3 days offsite.


    • Must live within commuting distance to SeaTac, WA. 

    • This position is not eligible for relocation.



  • You must be available core hours Monday – Friday.

  • You may be occasionally required to work hours outside the normal schedule.

  • Sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • This position is not safety sensitive.

  • For this role, the base wage range is $115,000 to $150,000 per year and the typical hiring range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000. The actual offer will consider multiple factors including but not limited to experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-relevant considerations.
