In this role, you will:


  • Be running technologically advanced, high-speed manufacturing equipment and collaborating with new or junior team members to do their best work safely.


  • Be safe.  Safety is our top priority. We require all Technicians to work in a safe manner to consistently identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions. At times, this will include operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.


  • Utilize problem solving and decision-making skills to establish proficiency in operating and making machine adjustments which are required to achieve and control high quality material standards.


  • Actively participate in a self-directed work team system which includes at times providing meaningful feedback to build participation and engagement with team members.


  • Document, account for and complete daily performance metrics in both verbal and written formats.


  • Identify machine faults and variations in runtime stability. 


  • Ensure that quality tests are done correctly and in a timely manner, and documents are maintained as required

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:  


  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States 


  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate 


  • 1+ years of continuous work experience.  


  • Have basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills 


  • Are able to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime 


  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening 


  • Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT) 


  • Have a Safety Mindset: Demonstrated prior experience with a focus on working safely and hazard recognition


  • Ability to learn and regularly utilize mill computer systems such as: Production MRP System (SAP), Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, PIMS, etc.


  • Loudon Mill is a High-Performance Work Team Culture. You must have the ability, drive and desire to work in a team environment




  • Have one of the following:



    • At least 1 year of sustained and relevant work experience; or


    • At least 2 years of military experience; or


    • Technical degree or certification in Manufacturing Technology or related field; or


    • Experience owning or operating a small business




  • Mechanical aptitude troubleshooting, disassembling equipment, parts replacement, general machine repair. Electrical aptitude is preferred, but not required.


  • Consistent and prolonged work history with demonstrated longevity and ability to succeed in work assignment

Competitive Compensation The pay rate for this position increases at the below intervals as new skills and knowledge are gained:


  • Entry $24.34 / hour


  • 4 Months $24.86 / hour


  • 8 Months $25.38 / hour


  • 1 Year $26.50 / hour


  • 2 Years $28.13 / hour


  • 3 Years $30.29 / hour



  • You’ll also be included in our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing Plans.
