RCM of Washington has an immediate need for Licensed Practical Nurses to support adults with intellectual disabilities. Full-time and part-time employment positions (all shifts) are available.  If you like helping people and have a passion for advocating and working with people, RCM of Washington is the place for you.  Hired applicants will receive a $2,000 sign on bonus; $1,000 within 30 days of hire and the remaining $1,000 within 90 days of hire pending successful completion of the introductory period.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse for, you will be responsible for:


  • Administering medication and treatments

  • Conducting assessments of the people we support

  • Medical and daily documentation utilizing the Electronic Medical Records System (Therap)

  • Assisting with activities of daily living with Direct Support Professionals

  • Coordinating doctor appointments and follow up

  • Other duties as assigned

Physical and Environmental Conditions: Work environment may involve situations that require working with people with Behavior Support Plans, Trauma Informed Care Plans, Complex Medical Needs, and Developmental Disabilities.

Candidates must possess the following qualities:


  • Valid LPN License in the District of Columbia

  • 1 year of experience as a LPN

  • Must be able to lift at least sixty (60) pounds

  • Strong written and verbal communication in the English language

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Possess ability to think critically and maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment

Candidates must provide proof of a current and valid LPN license in DC and CPR and First Aid certifications. All candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment  drug screening and will be required to submit a health certificate from a physician.
