As Strategy Deployment & Capabilities Leader, you’ll lead broad-based strategy development and oversight of multi-functional strategy deployment for Kimberly-Clark’s North America Adult & Feminine Care (AFC) accountable business unit (ABU).  This role will enable a cohesive AFC growth agenda and manage the critical linkage across the portfolio of brands through development and deployment of aligned objectives and initiatives across AFC functional leaders.  In this role you will interact with all levels of the organization to create end-to-end thinking and connections, promoting agile ways of working in all aspects of business delivery.  You’ll have the opportunity to oversee project management to deploy some of the largest and most impactful growth agenda items, ensuring seamless connection across all functions and executing with excellence.  Key constituents you’ll work with in this role include the AFC leadership team, with particular focus on the ABU President and General Managers.

In this role, you will:


  • Develop and execute against key ABU strategy growth domains in partnership with the ABU President and Personal Care Strategy Leader.


  • Manage key NA business processes within AFC to ensure delivery, sustainability, and continuous improvement. These processes include Strategic Business Plan (SBP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Annual Business Plan (ABP), and Innovation Management Framework & Process.


  • Deliver and enable a sector management framework to optimize the team’s operational model to achieve its top priorities, key initiatives and improve decision-making. 


  • Drive the development of sector Transformation Agenda and key initiatives and execute the deployment and tracking system to monitor progress and assess results monthly in the team’s executive scorecard.


  • Partner with ABU People Organization leader to evolve the culture, support talent management initiatives and to continue to build, attract, and engage talent, developing a diverse consumer organization. 


  • Identify and leverage best practices to drive balanced matrix across global sector teams, regions & functional areas.


  • Drive the communication, cohesion and operational delivery of the cross-functional organization using empowerment and engagement of teams. 


  • Work with the Personal Care Strategy leader to drive the sector’s narrative, through quarterly town halls and monthly communication vehicles.


  • Act as Chief of Staff for ABU President.


  • Provide coaching and guidance to key sector initiative teams, including project teams and sector cost transformation teams.


  • Manage ad hoc priority initiatives that are mission critical to the ABU.

  • Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.


  • 7+ years of business leadership experience with a history of demonstrated business success.


  • Outstanding organizational skills / solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.


  • Excellent communicator able to build creditability and be a trusted voice with leadership and key stakeholders.  Advanced PowerPoint / deck-writing skills; capable of catering a message appropriately to diverse stakeholder audiences.


  • Experience working in the context of a large, complex, global organization.  Adept at working across boundaries, navigating ambiguity, and leading through influence to move initiatives forward. 


  • Solid emotional intelligence and ability to communicate with and influence individuals at all levels of the organization, up to executive leadership.


  • Ability to think strategically and execute with excellence.
