Job Description:

Large plaintiff litigation firm in Century City is seeking an entry level legal assistant that will provide training! This is an excellent opportunity to join a large litigation plaintiff firm and to have on your resume that will open doors in the future!


This is a temp to hire opportunity, the firm will provide training. They are a large firm that is very fast pace, if that is something you are looking to do please review the requirements and apply!


Requirements:

  • Must have 1 year of law firm experience as an administrative assistant/legal assistant.

  • Must be reliable, and ready to work on-site (M-F)

  • Ability to work in a fast pace enviornment.

  • Ability to work in a high pressure deadline enviornment.




  • Responsibitlies:

    • Creates, edits, formats, and proofreads documents, spreadsheets and presentations

    • Prepares legal documents for court filing and electronic filing

    • Promptly responds to attorney requests via written, verbal, or electronic communication

    • Effectively and efficiently manages work and information requests, including document management, scheduling, and coordination of Firm resources

    • Helps attorneys and team members apply new technology to improve efficiency and quality of work product

    • Hands off work with detailed instructions to team members so that the work product is not compromised

    • Smoothly handles multiple demands and shifting priorities across all Firm offices

    • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
