Responsibilities:
Coordinate the procurement of materials, services, and products to meet program requirements.
Collaborate with program leads to identify and manage long lead materials.
Work with sourcing and program teams to select suppliers from the approved list to achieve program objectives.
Prepare purchase orders using Coupa and Costpoint software, ensuring all supplier documentation (e.g., terms and conditions, NDAs) is completed prior to engagement.
Monitor supplier performance, manage backlog and daily order status reports, and adjust schedules as needed.
Address discrepancies related to purchasing, delivery, receiving, invoices, and payments with suppliers.
Expedite materials as necessary to manage shortages and ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with logistics to ensure the economical and timely transportation of materials to production locations.
Manage returns for discrepant materials from receiving inspections and ensure proper documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
2-3 years of tactical-level purchasing experience, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry (e.g., Boeing, Lockheed).
