Beacon Hill Financial has a contract to hire Senior Payroll Specialist role available in Earth City, MO. This person will be responsible for the following:
Primary objective is to process biweekly and weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner while providing excellent customer service to all levels of employees.
Responsible for balancing and reviewing all taxes related to assigned payroll, including Federal, State, FICA plus the balancing of W2's.
Work with internal and external auditors for testing of SOX compliance and internal controls.
Oversee supplemental payroll inputs such as wage garnishments, loans, or levies.
Ensure payroll results and general ledger reports are transmitted to Finance.
Perform payroll audit reconciliations.
Act as project lead for acquisitions, mergers, and process modifications and adjustments.
