The (Contractor) Project Manager will plan and manage execution of multidisciplinary engineering projects in full accordance with Curium's HSE, technical and quality requirements, and on schedule and within budget. This role will report to the Associate Director of Capital Projects in Maryland Heights, MO.
Essential Functions
Perform multiple capital concurrent capital projects execution in accordance with applicable engineering standards.
Assess, implement, and revise engineering standards as needed.
Manage the design, procurement, and construction process to Company standards and agreed scope
Ensuring (demonstrably) quality in design and construction
Ensure that project and project expenditure plans are set-up and updated monthly. Costs are reported through the financial process.
Raise capital budget proposal and ensure the approval
Develop and sustain relationships with internal customers as well as vendors to ensure problems are clearly recognized and quantified and the best solution is developed and executed.
Keep stakeholders notified of status and upcoming activities and provide management with progress and forecasts
Ensure a safe and quality working environment through training, awareness, and compliance to safety guidelines and SOP's.
Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.).
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering. (Other engineering disciplines may be considered based on experience.)
5 or more years of relevant experience in capital project execution.
Minimum of Three (3) years' experience working in pharmaceutical industry or other regulated environment.
General project management skills (Plan/Track/Deliver)
Knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, oral / written communication and organizing skills
Microsoft Office, Proficient in MS Excel and MS Project

Preferred Experience:
Proven experience in leading teams, groups or efforts relating to processes and equipment.
Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience
Well-developed understanding of process control, process automation, and project management.
Verifiable experience in application of cGMP's, validation, quality systems, document control and the impact of regulatory considerations on engineering initiatives.
CAD experience is a plus.
