for a Remote opportunity!




Position Title: Technical Project Manager V



Location: Remote



Anticipated Start Date: 10/17/2024

Expected Duration: 11+ Months



Job Type: Contract (>=30 HRS WEEKLY)



Pay Range: $72.62 - $119.82


Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).



Day-to-Day Responsibilities:





  • Team of SE in contact with the business

  • Adoption of technical products - need to coordinate these kind of projects




Business Engineering Manager Responsibilities:





  • Build new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with product engineering teams and cross functional partners to meet business needs

  • Communicate strategic information and context from the company and organization to the team and other stakeholders

  • influence the roadmap and product development

  • Design and build end-to-end systems and launch-plan strategies

  • Bring unique insights of products and technologies and apply deep knowledge from industry, verticals and partner segments to fill a void that exists across our platforms

  • Partner with appropriate stakeholders to make ongoing program and project decisions, leverage insights from the team, and make recommendations and/or decisions when issues arise

  • Use broad range of technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with our partners, and independently resolve complex technical and business needs

  • Guide workflow changes, and gain consensus from stakeholders while driving toward solutions

  • Influence decision-making through presentation of data-centric business topics

  • Set clear expectations and goals, and assign projects aligned with team strengths, skills and motivations, provide guidance, and adjust management style to match the needs of the individual

  • Manage team performance, including coaching for career growth, and create a healthy team environment

  • Lead with care, recognize individual contributions, give and seek timely feedback, ensuring the team is healthy and sustaining productive relationships

  • Conduct Code reviews and provide thoughtful, meaningful, and constructive feedback

  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time


    Operations Management:


  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects/initiatives

  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks

  • Prepare project status reports and updates for leadership

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues


    Process Improvement:


  • Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement

  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and make adjustments as needed


    Team Management:


  • Supervise and mentor business engineering team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to complete their tasks

  • Provide guidance and support to team members as needed

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment


    Must-Have Skills:




  • Improving processes - need to have technical exp - should understand engineering

  • Business acumen

  • Process improvement


    Nice-to-have Skills:




  • People management

  • Client facing experience - Advertisers, Software engineering, Sales team


    Minimum Qualifications:




  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years of experience managing a team of engineers

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience

  • Experience with designing, building, and iterating on scalable software platforms applications and taking products from a nascent state to a level of maturity

  • Experience building software in languages like Python, Objective-C, PHP, C/C++, Ruby, C# or other programming languages

  • Experience proactively identifying and executing organizational, product improvements across several teams

  • Experience building consensus within large cross-functional organizations

  • Experience in translating technical concepts into language for audiences, including software engineers, business and technical leaders

  • Experience growing teams and designing organizations to maximize impact

  • Fluency in English
    Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with agile software development methodologies

  • Knowledge of the social media landscape globally

  • Experience working with global teams
