The Senior Marketing Communication Content Specialist is responsible for executing communication strategies across the organization. This role is responsible for the effective delivery and promotion of FTI's communication programs through a wide range of mediums to create impact and engagement. It requires a sharp eye for detail to facilitate clear, impactful and strategic communication both within the organization and externally, representing FTI's vision and strategies and contributing to its success.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS



Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations or a related field.


Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing is required. Construction, manufacturing, or energy industry experience is a plus.
Or
Any appropriate combination of education and experience as determined by management.


Travel: 5-10%


Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Internal Communication:


Collaborates with Marketing Communication Managers and various departments on the following:


  • Develops and implements internal communication strategies to ensure consistent and effective communication within the organization.

  • Creates engaging and relevant content for various internal platforms (including FTI's Intranet, app, emails, presentations, training materials, etc.) that conveys information clearly to appropriate audiences to inform, educate and connect.

  • Crafts messages that convey important information, updates, and announcements to employees.



External Communication:


Collaborates with Content and Public Relations Manager and various departments on the following:


  • Develops and executes external communication strategies to enhance the organization's reputation and relationships with stakeholders, customers, partners, and the general public.

  • Creates engaging and relevant content for various external platforms (including collateral, blogs, social media, etc.) that conveys information clearly to appropriate audiences to inform, educate and connect.

  • Drafts award entries, press releases, and other materials for public relations efforts.

  • Builds and maintains relationships with blog authors to facilitate positive coverage of the organization's activities and initiatives.

  • Coordinates event communications, including invitations, announcements, and promotional materials.



Content Creation:


  • Creates engaging and relevant content for various internal and external platforms (examples above) that conveys information clearly to appropriate audiences to inform, educate and connect.

  • Ensures content aligns with the organization's brand voice and messaging.

  • Provides communication-related training to employees to enhance their communication skills and ensure consistent messaging.



Branding and Messaging:


  • Ensures consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels and materials.

  • Develops and maintains key messages that resonate with the target audiences.

  • Commits to the company's vision and mission and core ideology to consistently demonstrate our core values.
