Job Description: Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate would have 1-5 years of experience in estimating earthwork projects. This role is crucial in helping accurately forecast project costs and ensure the financial success of their projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for earthwork projects.
Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information.
Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations.
Maintain accurate records of estimates and project costs.
Participate in project meetings and site visits as needed.
Qualifications:
1-5 years of experience in estimating earthwork projects.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
