This Dallas-based General Contractor is looking for Project Managers with a background in commercial construction management. This Project Manager will be capable of overseeing projects from the ground up to completion. Project experience in retail, religious, K12, and/or municipal construction is highly valued. Requirements:
Requires a minimum of 3 years' experience as a PM managing ground up projects for a general contractor.
Ground up/new construction experience is required.
Commercial General Contracting experience is required.
Formal education in construction or engineering with strong technical knowledge is highly preferred. PM field experience is required.
The ability to read and understand construction documents, including project plans, specifications, shop drawings and blueprints.
Clear understanding of the documentation and processes between the owner, architect, and contractor.
Clear understanding of commercial construction means and methods
Strong communication skills & leadership ability
Must be computer-literate, preferring experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore and other construction-related software.
