SCOPE OF ROLE

Reporting to the Supervisor, Academic Placement, the Coordinator, Academic Placement will support all components of Signature Health's student placement function. The Coordinator, Academic Placement will collaborate with internal and external resources to maintain strong professional and academic relationships. The Coordinator, Academic Placement will be key in the successful implementation & ongoing maintenance of Academic Placement (AP) programs, services & functions through strong, detail oriented, organizational skills. The Coordinator, Academic Placement will plan, coordinate and support facilitation of student events, ongoing program development, administrative tasks and support the inclusion of academic placement students into Signature Health's culture.

HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED


  • Support all aspects of the facilitation of academic placement programs, including onsite events, abbreviated orientation, student experiences and external collaborations.

  • Coordinates with academic institution advisors and staff to provide and support innovative programs that help students succeed.

  • Develops, monitors and maintains accurate and compliant student resources and documentation for all student placements & programs at Signature Health; including program guides and templates.

  • Monitor processes of end-to-end student programming and service data for ongoing updates, grant reporting and continuous improvement.

  • Reviews internal processes & communications to ensure information is up-to-date and relevant; communicates relevant changes and makes suggestions for improvement.

  • Proficient utilization of software & reporting tools, including but not limited to LMS, HRIS, SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365.

  • Collaborates with academic placement employees and students, and external professionals to distribute and analyze evaluations, feedback surveys and inquiries.

  • Supports all students of Signature Health as main point of contact; engages appropriate departments as required.

  • Provides support, collaborates with and responds promptly to department and organization needs/requests.

  • Understands key Academic Placement objectives to support ongoing initiatives.

  • Travel, as needed, to various Signature Health locations and College/Universities to support Professional Development.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant professional administrative experience required.

  • Previous demonstrated experience coordinating programs/initiatives within a healthcare or education setting required.

  • Proficient in MicroSoft Office with demonstrated confidence utilizing technology required.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, highly organized and experience maintaining/editing documents and document libraries.


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office/clinical work environment.

  • While hours of operation are generally standard, flexibility to work evenings and extended hours may be required.

  • Requires periods of sitting, standing, telephone, and computer work.

  • Hearing: adequate to hear clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.

  • Speaking: adequate to speak to clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.

  • Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.

  • Physical effort required: occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 15 pounds, unassisted.

  • Possible exposure to blood borne pathogens while performing job duties.

  • Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular workday.

  • Sufficient dexterity to operate a PC and other office equipment.
