Product Management - J. J. Keller Managed Services (Chemical Management & Vehicle Services)

As a Product Manager in J. J. Keller's Managed Services area on the Product Management team, you will lead a significant area of the Managed Services product portfolio and be accountable for its end-to-end strategy and performance while ensuring the products meet market needs now and in the future, by maximizing customer delight while achieving goals for revenue, profitability, growth, and retention consistent with business unit's plans and strategies.

The Product Manager will leada team with 2direct reportsto include a Product Owner and a Product Analyst.

In addition, managing the product vision and roadmaps and communicating regularly with all stakeholders to drive alignment is a critical component as well as being passionate about the customer and how JJK can help solve their needs and pain points through managed services solutions.

In this role you can workremote from a home-based office within the US,on-site at our Neenah, WI Corporate Campus, or ablend of on-site and remotefrom a home-based office.

Job Responsibilities


  • Leads, develops, and coaches team:

    • Provides clear expectations, feedback and recognition
    • Participates in the hiring/selection process
    • Writes and conducts performance evaluations and progress reports
    • Handles associate relations issues
  • Delivers results in line with the following key metrics/accountabilities:

    • New service launch objectives
    • Customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention targets
    • New service revenue and growth targets
    • Budget control
    • Associate retention
  • Constructs and manages product plans and executes them according to defined product roadmaps over the entire lifecycle, working closely with stakeholders, product owner / analysts, and development.
  • Communicates progress against roadmaps, metrics and execution targets regularly to stakeholders to create a common understanding. Focuses on execution of plans and quick understanding of lessons learned to drive success.
  • Outlines product business cases and investment justification.
  • Creates key product benefits and value propositions, including target customers and problems to solve, product positioning, and competitive environment.
  • Defines market needs for the product by obtaining customer input, performing competitive analysis, and determining cost / benefit.
  • Understands how to achieve performance targets through managing the mix of pricing, margin, retention, packaging, etc. Tracks accordingly.
  • Defines product launch strategy and sets plans for go to market. Works with business, operations, marketing, sales etc. on execution of plans and decisions.
  • Develops and conduct sales readiness training to prepare channel to support new product introduction and meet launch objectives. Measure product launch effectiveness.
  • Champions customer quality problems. Monitors customer experiences and advocate on their behalf. Identifiesand documents global trends in customer feedback and prioritizes action plans in roadmaps.
  • Creates pathways for ongoing customer feedback and engagement - including input on roadmaps, new or changing features and ongoing quality / usability.
  • Supports strategic planning, market planning and execution. Provide perspective on key market and customer trends to support annual strategic planning activity.
  • Understands technology and regularly engages with technology teams to align on how it informs our solutions, automation and our achievement of margin and business process improvement.
  • Manages expenses in line with departmental budgets and corporate business conditions.
  • Carries out responsibilities in a fair, ethical and non-discriminatory manner and ensures that staff follow these same guidelines.
  • Enforces and supports all company policies and procedures. Fully supports the company's commitment to safety and the environment and strives to maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace.

Qualifications

Experience:


  • 5 years of product management experience with specific responsibility for owning the product road map.
  • Demonstrated success in driving roadmap delivery, customer delight and achievement of financial metrics.
  • People leadership experience leading small team of product analysts or owners.
  • Demonstrated experience with designing or managing the functionality of client-facing portals.
  • Demonstrated experience with the integration of business systems (i.e. back-office systems and client-facing portals) and how integration impacts the user experience; i.e. data integrity, etc.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field required.

  • Solid technical background and ability to align technology use product solutions.
  • Ability to develop and implement growth plans and programs.

  • Ability to break down deliverables into specific development activities and to accurately estimate delivery dates and project costs. Understanding of product management processes and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of complex sales processes related to technology-based products or services. Ability to recognize sales channel capabilities and package products accordingly.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in either a home office or a standardofficeenvironment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time.Occasional travel to offsite offices or customer sites may also berequired, depending on assignment.

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $91,000.00 to $115,000.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's overall experience and geographic location. Note that J. J. Keller is not currently recruiting employees to work in California.
