Nucor Building Systems - Indiana, a division of Nucor, is seeking applicants for an Accounting Intern. The role of the Accounting Intern is to assist with the execution of day-to-day and month-end business activities. These activities include GAAP compliance, financial reporting, tax responsibilities, GL account reconciliations, posting of journal entries, and assisting with other financial projects as needed. The specific job duties are listed below:
Assist with GAAP accounting and financial reporting
Assist with the coordination of closing the books each fiscal month-end.
Prepare financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and daily cash processing.
Other duties assigned by the Accounting Manager or Controller.
Minimum Requirements:
Enrolled and pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
