Gathers regional financial and operational data, performs analyses, helps to draw conclusions based on that data, and prepares appropriate and relevant reports and presentations to upper management. The primary focus will be on the domestic Warehouse segment (approximately 40+ temperature-controlled warehouses generating $400+ million in annual revenues).
What You'll Do:
Manage forecasting and annual operating budgets for regional facilities, collaborating with key departments on data input and presentation.
Assist in the month-end close process by providing variance explanations and analyzing financial results, while preparing materials for monthly business reviews.
Serve as a key resource for data collection, analysis, and presentation across financial and operational metrics.
Consolidate business commentary and results into key themes for management reports, including both financial and non-financial data.
Partner with the Corporate Finance team on value-add projects, strategic initiatives, and various business cases, collaborating with other functional departments as needed.
Provide analytics support for Supply Chain Solutions and Pricing regarding new pricing deals and contract renewals.
Support newly acquired sites with acquisition integration, financial training, and month-end processes.
Deliver finance overviews and training for General Managers, Operations Managers, and Office Managers, as well as onboarding support for new leadership roles.
What Experience and Education You Need:
BS Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance and 5 years of relevant financial analyst experience.
Previous exposure to Operations, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Warehousing industries is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Previous demonstrated experience with financial and business intelligence systems. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Oracle and Oracle EPM are preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of budget and reporting systems such as HYPERION, ESSBASE, Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC), Tableau, etc.
Ability to travel 20-30% of the time.
