General Description:


Position: Education & Workshop Manager
Duration: Temp to Hire (Long-term)
Location: Downtown Sacramento
Pay range: $28.00 - $30.00 / hour


Duties & Responsibilities:
- Putting together web-shops / other educational events for the Association
- Weekly marketing emails & communication with the Educational Director, Lobbyists and other team members
- Organized events and educational workshops for the Association including dealing logistically with venues & meeting sites
- Implement educational workshops, trainings, Zoom meetings and in-person meetings
- Coordinate education aspects of trainings
- Help write agendas, confirm speakers, set up virtual planning meetings, build registration platforms, coordinate continuing education credits, provide onsite management for in-person events. To include, but no limited to; web shops, trainings, academies, and conferences.
- Enter and update client information and data in YourMembership Database


Required Skills:
- A minimum of a High School diploma or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Meeting & Event Planning / Administrative experience
- Working knowledge in MS Office Suites (including Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
