Duration: 12 Months, Contract, W-2


Location: Onsite in Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830


Work Schedule: M-F, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Fully Onsite)


Pay: $25 - $30 an hour



Our client who is a multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate located in Lake Buena Vista FL is currently seeking a project coordinator.




Position Overview:



The Project Coordinator will provide comprehensive support for project management functions related to departmental initiatives. This includes planning and managing scope, timelines, risks, and quality across all project phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closeout.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Project Management Support: Facilitate the planning and management of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.


  • Advocacy and Best Practices: Act as a project management advocate by leveraging industry trends and best practices to improve project outcomes. Support PMO-related financial and operational activities as needed.


  • Financial Management: Assist in annual capital planning and forecasts. Monitor and distribute project financials to ensure budget accuracy. Provide operational support for monthly forecasts and financial-related inquiries from Tech and Finance partners.


  • Communication: Proactively communicate project changes, issues affecting deliverables, and task expectations to the project team. Serve as the central coordinator for team communications throughout project lifecycles.


  • Meeting Facilitation: Facilitate or co-facilitate project meetings to ensure objectives are met, presenting clear and informative status updates based on team contributions.


  • Efficiency Advocacy: Identify opportunities for efficiency within projects, challenging existing processes to enhance project initiation, planning, execution, and implementation.




Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of project management support experience required


  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification highly preferred

  • Familiarity with financial terms and activities.

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project, Teams, and Confluence.

  • Experience in project and portfolio management, including demand intake and resource management.

  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience with technical development projects.

  • Knowledge of statistics, industrial engineering, marketing, and revenue management analytics.

  • Familiarity with client's business domain and knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry.

  • Experience leading departmental centralization programs and initiatives.

  • Adaptability to a rapidly changing business environment and ability to manage multiple priorities.
