Responsibilities:
Schedule, image, install, test, and deploy new PCs to users as part of the PC Refresh program.
Reclaim and document prior equipment, assisting with disposal processes.
Troubleshoot hardware issues during installation to ensure user readiness.
Investigate and resolve desktop operating system and software issues.
Communicate effectively with users and management about the PC Refresh schedule and deployment status.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
Experience: 1-3 years of desktop support services experience.
Certifications such as A+ or Microsoft certifications (MC) are a plus.
Technical knowledge of hardware, including desktops, laptops, tablets, workstations, and PC components.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience with hardware from Dell, EMC, Cisco, and other leading brands.
Familiarity with current operating systems, protocols, and standards.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documentation.
Valid driver's license and ability to work in various environments, including heavy manufacturing settings.
