About the Role
The main purpose of the Visual Merchandising Specialist is to design and execute model store planogram sets for global execution in our stores.
Merchandise model stores to represent company visual standards, merchandising guidelines, and brand integrity.
Merchandise options and select store assortments to support product initiatives.
Maintain constant changes in model stores.
Maintain functionality of model stores and backroom including small fixture assortment and cash wrap supplies
Create eye catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store.
Attend product turn in meetings, identifying key messages and product innovation to use while merchandising the stores, capturing a clear image of the desired result.
Maintain knowledge of industry and marketing trends including but not limited to merchandising techniques, fixturing, trends, and product.
Work closely with buying teams to ensure an accurate representation of product is always present in model stores and planograms.
Supporting merchandising design for concept stores.
Create and maintain a personal planning calendar to manage deadlines
Support Planogram Production team with projects as assigned.
Support with on-site, field In-Store Presentation projects.
Support with any additional projects as assigned to support the company goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Associates degree required or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year retail experience required
2+ years visual merchandising experience, preferably in a major retail chain
Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter with strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
Critical thinker that uses solution-based problem solving when executing tasks
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as working independently
Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency
