The role of the Senior Programmer/Analyst is integral within the University Analytics and Institutional Research (UAIR) department. It encompasses the development, maintenance, and enhancement of sophisticated data applications and data analytics platforms. The Senior Programmer/Analyst is entrusted with the task of composing advanced programming code to extract data from multiple databases and constructing and overseeing the interfaces between various standalone systems and UCM’s primary data platform. This role is responsible for conducting thorough data analysis and furnishing pivotal data inputs to facilitate the construction and optimization of UCM's data visualization tools. By capitalizing on expertise in software engineering, data analysis, and system optimization, the Senior Programmer/Analyst innovatively delivers integrated solutions that bolster institutional research, inform policy, and propel strategic initiatives across the university. |
