Location: Mayport, Florida
Summary: The Secretary III will provide administrative support to Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC).
Roles and Responsibilities:
Process and manage Department of Defense civilian and military administrative requirements.
Process and disseminate Combat Systems (Code 200) guidance and expectations throughout various levels of SERMC.
Utilize advanced functions of database files, execute scripts to update tables, manipulate data to ensure databases are functional.
Utilize advanced functions of Microsoft Excel or similar software to perform data collection on administrative services.
Maintain trackers for deadlines on command documents such as directives or documents submitted to leadership.
Utilize SharePoint functions to distribute information to the Combat Systems department such as forms, notices, and instructions.
Modify lists to track correspondence for Combat Systems leadership.
Provide on-site services Monday through Friday between the hours of 0700 to 1530, for a standard 40-hour work week, except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.
Lunch breaks shall be taken between the hours of 1100-1300, and shall not exceed 1/2 hour.
100% work in an office environment.
There may be brief visits through industrial or other specialized areas.
Shall dress in appropriate business attire.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must have 2 years of related experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must have a working knowledge of TAAS, SUPDESK, Business Objects and (MRQT) Material Requirements tool.
Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
ADA/Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift, carry and transport equipment and boxes.
Must be able to work in an office environment. May stand prone or sit at a computer for hours at a time. .
Job may require bending, stooping, lifting.
May be required to enter into a production environment with high and low temperatures at times.
