Responsibilities

Weston & Sampson is looking for a Help Desk Technician with the IT group in our Foxborough, MA office. Providing Help Desk support is the individual’s primary responsibility, working with end users to resolve problems related to hardware and software. Hardware support includes Windows-based computers, mobile devices, video conference systems, printers, plotters and copier/scanners. Software support includes Microsoft 365, Adobe, Autodesk, ESRI, Bentley, Bluebeam, and a wide range of engineering applications.



Qualifications



What you’ll do:

Providing Help Desk support is the individual’s primary responsibility, working with end users to resolve problems related to hardware and software.

Hardware support includes:

  • Windows-based computers
  • Mobile devices
  • Video conference systems
  • Printers, plotters and copier/scanners

Software support includes:

  • Microsoft 365
  • Adobe
  • Autodesk
  • ESRI
  • Bentley
  • Bluebeam
  • And a wide range of engineering applications.

Engineering and Provisioning

  • Provision Windows-based computers of all form factors
  • Install and configure software applications at the end-user level
  • Contribute to the maintenance of infrastructure-level systems
  • Contribute to the maintenance of system standards
  • Provision mobile devices of all types

What you will bring:

  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Minimum Associates degree preferred
  • Responsibilities occasionally require working evenings and weekends, and this may occur with little to no advanced notice based on circumstances.
  • Accountable for support of:
    • Desktop, laptop, and tablet computers
    • Video conference systems
    • Software applications
    • Mobile devices such as iPhones, Android devices, iPads, etc.
    • Printers, plotters and copier/scanners
