Intro and job overview:

As a Field Marketing Manager at Precisely, you will be at the forefront of our event strategy, driving the success of company-owned campaigns, industry tradeshows, and partner events. You'll be the mastermind behind both in-person events and virtual webinars, ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan and Execute Events: From staffing and promotions to signage and on-site meetings, you'll determine all event needs and ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Budget Management: You'll manage event budgets ranging from $10K to $20K, always keeping an eye on cost efficiency.
  • Streamline Processes: Develop and implement operational processes to make show planning more efficient and reduce execution costs.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors for shipping, creative services, giveaways, collateral, and more.
  • Financial Oversight: Handle invoices and purchase orders promptly.
  • On-Site Management: Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring everything is perfect.
  • Lead Management: Ensure timely entry of booth leads and coordinate follow-up with the sales team.
  • Physical Requirements: Light lifting is required, with the ability to move approximately 20 lb. boxes of event materials and supplies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in managing events, tradeshows, and webinars.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field from a four-year college or university.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects alongside various sales and marketing teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in and understanding of the high-tech industry and enterprise software market is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, ChatGPT is a plus
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team Player: Team-oriented, problem-solver, and forward-thinker.
  • Budget Management: Ability to be cost-conscious and manage a campaign budget effectively.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 33% of the time within the US.
