Job Description:

Overhead Door Company of Kansas City™, a DH Pace Company aspires to hire a selling Sales Manager located at our Olathe office. The Sales Manager will be responsible for Kansas City and surrounding areas. Will lead and support an outside sales team of Residential Sales Representatives selling door and door-related products to homeowners and to residential builders and General Contractors. Must have a successful track-record selling, teaching, developing, and leading a team of Outside Sales Representatives.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Will be responsible for meeting your team’s sales objectives and goals

  • Will be responsible for meeting your sales objectives and goals

  • To be successful will need to dedicate time to learning products and services 

  • Will accompany sales reps to ensure they are reaching their full potential when engineering door solutions for customers.

  • Assist on developing scope of work for proposals and handle such details

  • Must be proficient with Windows based programs and sales tools and will ensure each sales representative is handling the proposal process as expected to minimize errors.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor degree coupled with preferably a minimum of three (3) years Sales Management experience and a minimum of three (3) years outside sales experience selling technical/mechanical products in the residential sector desired.

  • Possess an ability for technical applications, mechanical systems and problem solving

  • The ability to read and understand blue prints, coupled with prior Estimating experience is desired.

  • Experience reading plans and working with new construction projects to develop take-offs and bids for large multi-family jobs

  • Must have valid driver’s license, a good driving record.
