Job Title: Plant Trainer

LOCATION: Clinton, TN

SHIFT: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:15pm, 1st Shift (8hours)

Must be flexible to work different shift hours as needed

STARTING PAY: $20.50-$28.00hr Depends on Experience

Sign-on Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days totaling $1,500.00

Referral Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days totaling $1,500.00

At our Clinton site, we're seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Hourly Plant Trainer. If you have a background in manufacturing, expertise in writing SOPs, and a knack for maintaining databases and work instructions, we want to hear from you!

Your Role: As an Hourly Plant Trainer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting managers and employees in their day-to-day tasks related to processes, procedures, equipment, safety, and quality initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering, facilitating, and evaluating engaging learning activities at the plant level.
• Collaborating with the Project Manager or Continuous Improvement Specialist to implement new training formats and documentation, including standard work videos for on-the-job training, testing, and verification of training.
• Managing and maintaining all training documents, qualification records, logs, skills, certifications, and metrics to ensure plant compliance.
• Conducting periodic audits of processes, training systems, and facilitating necessary training activities.
• Developing and applying assessment tools to measure training effectiveness, ensuring standardized processes are followed.
• Preparing necessary reports such as the Skills Matrix visual board and scorecards.

What You Need: To hit the ground running in this role, you should possess:

• Around 2 years' experience in a training or mentor role in a lean manufacturing environment; Formal Training/Instructor certification is a plus.
• Experience with manufacturing processes; knowledge about extrusion process or ISO 9000 or TL9000 experience is a huge plus.
• Strong communication skills to engage with different personalities and adapt training to different learning types.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a mix of project management.
• Presentation skills for small group and/or classroom-type training.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple trainees.
• Enthusiastic attitude, receptiveness to questions, and the ability to effectively deliver training.
• A great attendance record, understanding that Teamwork & Reliability are key!
