Overview: The Director of Procurement is a strategic leader responsible for optimizing procurement processes, driving cost reduction, and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services to support organizational goals. This role will collaborate closely with departments including manufacturing, finance, marketing, IT, and others to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.


Lead and manage a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


Conduct thorough market analysis and supplier assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.


Negotiate and manage complex supplier contracts to optimize terms and conditions.


Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure supply chain continuity and collaboration.


Leverage data analytics and business intelligence tools (such as Power BI) to drive data-driven decision making and optimize procurement processes.


Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance and drive accountability.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing opportunities, resolve supply chain challenges, and improve overall business operations.


Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI to optimize procurement processes, ensure data accuracy and consistency, and generate actionable insights.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.


Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management.


Demonstrated experience in the food industry is preferred.


Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, including Power BI.


Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.


Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP systems.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Strong leadership and team management abilities.


Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
