The Job
Test the following system components for proper operation in the customers facility using hand tools and volt/OHM meter:
Test backup batteries by removing AC power from control and measuring battery voltage. Test intercom systems. Test access control system. Test and clean all video systems.
Communicate with Technical Support department to determine if they are receiving proper signals during system testing. Field train new employees (may include other departments) to familiarize them with devices and testing procedure. May also include new customers or their employees. Recognize and report all service problems to Monitoring Center or Supervisor/Manager. May perform routine service as directed. Respond to alarms during storms as requested by management. Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner. Maintain a cleaned, organized, and stocked vehicle.
