Job Description:

The Mission Support Supervisor will perform and coordinate various administrative tasks, ensuring efficient business operations. and has oversight of administrative staff. This role directs a team to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and timely, by providing direction and support, delegating tasks, setting expectations, monitoring performance, delivering coaching and training, resolving conflicts, promoting accountability, and ensure policy compliance. 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The pay listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates. $50,000 annually

 Essential Functions: 


  • Ensure financial resources are allocated effectively to support mission objectives

  • Identify development needs and provide guidance to administrative staff

  • Perform audits of reports and paperwork to ensure that quality and timely standards are being met and procedures are being followed

  • Ensure adequate support and provisions for mission components

  • Partner with human resources as employee issues arise

  • Provide technical expertise on business proposals, requirements, control documentation and integration activities

  • Identify additional training needs for mission support staff and make recommendations to site management

  • Provide technical guidance to direct reports in solving complex work-related issues or problems

  • Ensure employees know their roles and expectations, how they should accomplish those requirements, and what policies and cultural norms they should follow

  • Identify, document, and share best practices with management to develop innovative approaches, more efficient processes and solutions to problems encountered during daily operations

  • Prepare work agreements, proposals and organize and maintain project databases 

  • Serve as the lead mission subject matter expert for the assigned Field Site Manager

  • Other duties as assigned

 Knowledge and Skills: 


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of payroll/timekeeping, asset management, logistics and/or other administrative functions

  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive information

  • Demonstrate ability to be empathetic with the needs and concerns of the workforce by being flexible with business requests

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills 

  • Good research skills and attention to detail  

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to speak, read and write English

  • Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365

Education and Experience: 


  • High school diploma required; associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.   

  • 3 years relevant experience in administration working in an office environment; in addition to prior experience overseeing disciplinary issues in the workplace

  • 3+ years leadership experience in a supervisory role 

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)

  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
