Job Description:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support wafer process development in collaboration with design and process engineering teams

  • Identify needs for new process technology and develop them thru collaboration with process owners

  • Define layout rules for new product platforms and develop mask designs for new products

  • Participating in establishing fab processing requirement for new products

  • Collaborate with logistics, quality, and other functional teams to setup, qualify, and release new products

  • Assist process and yield engineering teams by providing technical support for yield improvement

  • Support quality team with root cause analysis

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the organization, scope as projects and drive to comp
  • letion

  • Routinely report technical results to external customers

    Education & Experience



  • Masters or PhD in electrical engineering, physics, material science or equivalent knowledge/experience

  • 10+ years professional experience

    Skills



  • Proficiency with statistical process control, design of experiments, and data base query

  • Understanding of device physics and the impact of process parameters on performance

  • Experience performing development in a manufacturing environment

  • Self-motivated, driven individual with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast pace environment

  • Ability to communicate results in a clear, concise, and well-organized manner

    Flexibility to support a 24/7 hour manufacturing site


    Normal office environment


    Clean room environment


    Physical Requirements


    Ability to lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs.


    Ability to adorn clean room environment.


    Ability to sit/stand for up to 4 hours at a time.


    Safety Requirements
