YOUR ROLE


The Implementation Engineering Manager will lead a team of Industrial Engineers primarily responsible for implementing the physical layout, establishing the fulfillment processes, and executing solution concepts for new client and new facility integrations. This role involves collaborating with the original Design team, managing the team responsible for end-to-end process implementation, and engaging with support teams to ensure the success of multiple, simultaneous client and facility launches.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Supervise daily accounting operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, Sarbanes Oxley guidelines and other regulatory requirements. Identify, propose and implement process improvements in current policies and procedures to expedite workflow.
  • Lead the Engineering team responsible for site setup, facility outfitting, layout execution and process optimization activities related to new client implementations in new or existing distribution centers.
  • Manage multiple, simultaneous new clients implementations ensuring resources are allocated appropriately, spending is within predetermined budgets, and projects are executed on time.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Design to understand data assumptions, solution design elements, and procurement needs for new client and new facility implementations.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of multiple client launches, ensuring the implements solutions align with client requirements and company objectives.
  • Ensure standardization in approach, develop common tools and best practices to ensure continued development and improvement in the implementation process.
  • Anticipate potential issues & risks and develop mitigation plans with Engineering team and project partners to ensure change requests are document and projects are successfully completed on time and achieve defined financial metrics.
  • Engage with clients to define business requirements, clarify data needs, and modify solutions to complement new insights and changing scope.
  • Partner with Project Management and Procurement to ensure equipment and supplies are ordered, tracked, delivered, and implemented on-time and on budget.
  • Assist in new facility implementations with capital budgets up to $50m.
  • Assist in new client implementations with annual revenue ranging from $1m-$100m/year.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field of study


Skills:
  • Minimum 10 years Logistics & Distribution experience
  • At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role overseeing Industrial Engineering or Implementation teams
  • Proven track record of successful new client, new process, or new technology implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high performing engineering teams.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading complex, large-scale projects.
