Our interns don't run errands - they're here to make a real impact at the company!  As a BAF Supply Chain Intern, you will be an integral part of the Big Ass Fans Supply Chain team. In this role, you will use your analytical skills to support the Sourcing and Purchasing teams in achieving supply chain targets through inventory and supplier analytics management. In your first week, you'll dive into an exciting project you'll work on throughout your internship. At the end, you'll get to present your findings and recommendations to BAF executives. We'll provide a supportive, fast-paced environment focused on learning; you bring your attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once. Our success is a result of the diversity of the Big Ass Fans team. Responsibilities

• Create an inventory management dashboard to drive decisions, and improve service and cost management.


• Analyze safety stocks for accuracy. 


• Develop excess/obsolete commercial reach strategy.


• Create a supplier dashboard to track commercial terms and capital.


• Maintain MRP system as needed.

Requirements

• Must be working toward a BS degree in Supply Chain (preferred), Procurement, or other related fields


• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets abilities


• Ability to lead in a cross-functional team setting


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 


• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills


• Strong understanding of supply chain processes 


• Process improvement mindset
