ABOUT THE JOB



As a Technical Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical aspects of a company's platform infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of the platform, enabling the delivery of high-quality services to customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and infrastructure specialists, to drive platform enhancements, resolve technical issues, and implement best practices. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to navigate complex technical environments.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Platform Management: Manage the technical aspects of the company's clinical and business applications, including system availability, scalability, performance, and security.

  • Technical Strategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute a technical strategy for the clinical and business applications, aligning them with the overall business objectives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of platform enhancements.

  • Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, coordinating with the appropriate teams to resolve them promptly. Implement preventive measures to minimize future incidents.

  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor applications performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and user experience.

  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to evaluate, select, and manage technical solutions that align with the company's platform requirements.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the platform infrastructure, technical processes, and procedures. Generate reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding platform performance, upgrades, and changes.




QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with proven experience in a technical role such as software engineering, infrastructure management, platform operations, or product management or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong understanding of platform architecture, cloud computing, and distributed systems. Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools, containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes).

Pay Range: $95,000 - $120,000/yr
