Accounts Payable Clerk-Specialist-Property Management/Real Estate w/Yardi




Job Description:



We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk/Specialist to join our finance team. We are an established company with a strong presence in the East Bay. This role involves managing daily accounts payable tasks, vendor inquiries, and administrative duties.



Duties (Daily):



- Sort and process Accounts Payable mail.


- Print, verify, and process invoices; follow up with vendors for email delivery.


- Coordinate invoice approvals and assist with security deposit accounting.


- Execute scheduled check runs and maintain accurate records of payments.


- Assist with vendor inquiries and track new vendor approvals.



Monthly Duties:



- Maintain spreadsheets for insurance expiration dates and run COI reports.


- Prepare Form 542 for 1099 vendors and ensure timely document submissions.


- Compile and file monthly accounts payable reports.



Administrative Duties:



- Provide general clerical support, including mail distribution and office organization.


- Support new vendor/property setups and ensure smooth operational processes.



Qualifications:




-2-5 years of experience, accounts payable in property management/real estate.



- Strong organizational and communication skills.


- Proficient in Yardi and Microsoft office.



Salary: $28 HR
