Our client, a reputable and growing real estate company in the Boca Raton area, is seeking a skilled and motivated Staff Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to advance their career in the real estate industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting
Ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies
Assist with audits and provide financial analysis support
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate
Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software (Yardi or similar) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
