Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
Help with budgeting and forecasting.
Cost Accounting:
Track and analyze costs related to production (materials, labor, etc.).
Identify and explain differences between actual costs and budgets.
Inventory Management:
Manage inventory records (raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods).
Ensure inventory numbers are accurate.
General Ledger:
Maintain the company's general ledger by recording transactions and preparing reports.
Help with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Audit and Compliance:
Support audits by preparing necessary documents.
Make sure the company follows accounting rules and regulations.
Financial Analysis:
Analyze the company's financial data to find ways to save money and improve efficiency.
Team Leadership:
Supervise junior accountants and help train new team members.
Collaboration:
Work with other departments (like production and procurement) to help them understand costs and improve processes.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA is a plus).
Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Skills:
Strong understanding of cost accounting.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
