Key Responsibilities:


Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Diversified Packaging OP II Caser to support the Diversified team to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met.


Additional Responsibilities:


Ensure quality of products and work performed meet PepsiCo's quality expectations. 


Maintain high standards and compromised integrity to protect our customers and consumers. 


Perform established QC checks utilizing established and future quality tools, including but not limited to package integrity checks, case and bottle expiration and lot information checks, and any other checks that may be required to ensure product quality.  


Attend all production, communication and training meetings as required by the organization and/or department leadership. 


Troubleshoot and investigate barriers to meeting departmental objectives and eliminate when possible, offer solutions or take an active role in recruiting the resources necessary to remove these barriers. 


Investigate, troubleshoot and solve technical issues on the equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation 


Capable of completing equipment CL's and CIL's and any drumbeat activities including equipment lubrication. 


Demonstrate effective communication between shifts and employees including, but not limited to, safety, quality and productivity. 


Actively support TPM and NWT programs.   


Be a role model and lead the department in TPM objectives and priorities including AM, FI and OCCI as determined by the department and NWT teams. 


Ensure all areas are maintained to 5S standards. 


Foster an inclusive and fair work environment including a workplace free from harassment or favoritism.  Promote civil interaction between team members from all departments and aggressively address divisive or hostile behaviors 


Seek and listen to improvement ideas from team members. 


Demonstrate strong follow-up on issues brought forward by team members. 


Strive to keep equipment and processes functioning smoothly to minimize frustration and stress. 


Facilitate effective communication across department lines. 


Proactively maintain morale through teamwork and positive interaction with crews. 


Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 6 months of Machine Operator experience

  • Must be computer literate

  • Must be able to safely and efficiently run all casing equipment in the department within the qualification period

  • Must be able to complete all quality checks and learn all required cleaning tasks of a caser operator including proper documentation that accompanies these activities

  • Must actively work to control scrap losses including juice, cartons, and corrugate

  • Must be able to twist, reach, bend, lift a minimum of 30 pounds, push 30 pounds, pull 30 pounds and climb as needed.  May be required to lift overhead frequently throughout the shift

  • Must be able to obtain fall protection sign offs and work from heights on a regular basis

  • Legally authorized to work in the country to which you are applying without requiring sponsorship or additional work permits now or in the future

  • Will on occasion need to work more than 40 hours a week and/or work 12-hour days to cover other caser operators paid and unpaid absences.

Ensure all safety rules, procedure, policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed 


Will stay up to date on all required peak performance safety training.
