RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an EDI Generalist in Irvine, CA.

Summary:
The EDI Generalist is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of electronic document exchanges between trading partners, ensuring accurate data transmission and adherence to industry standards. The EDI Generalist reports to EDI Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitates EDI Transactions: Manages the entire EDI transaction process, ensuring accurate data exchanges between trading partners


• Coordinates Integration: Collaborates with internal teams (IT, operations, and sales) to integrate EDI systems with existing business applications, ensuring seamless workflows


• Troubleshoots Issues: Identifies and resolves EDI-related problems, including data discrepancies and transmission errors


• Maintains Documentation: Develops and updates EDI documentation, including mappings, specifications, and user guides

REQUIREMENTS:

• ANSI X12 Standard Knowledge: Understanding the structure and format for electronic exchanges of business documents (invoices, purchase orders, etc.)

Familiarity with Common EDI Transaction Codes in Retail:

• 850 Purchase Order


• 810 Invoice


• 856 Advance Ship Notice (ASN)


• 997 Functional Acknowledgment


• 832 Price/Sales Catalog


• 855 Purchase Order Acknowledgment


• 860 Purchase Order Change Request

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
